Our story
From one classroom in 2005 to a school families trust
Meey Children School was founded in September 2005 in a single classroom. What began as one room and a clear conviction — that every child deserves to be truly known — has grown into a full nursery, kindergarten and basic school serving families across Satellite Town.
The conviction has not changed. We still believe that a child who feels safe, understood and valued will learn well, and that the job of a school is to unite and inspire, meeting each child's social, emotional and academic needs.

From our Head Teacher
Every child is encouraged to reach their full potential, and we recognise and celebrate the differences that make each one unique. We have excellent, dedicated, hardworking and experienced teachers who work together as a team to bring out the best in every child.
We expect a great deal from our pupils, and they do not disappoint us. By the time children leave us, they are well-mannered, responsible and ready to face the next phase of life.

A school is only as good as the relationships inside it. Ours are built deliberately — between teacher and child, between school and home, and between one class level and the next.
Our teachers are dedicated, hardworking and experienced, and they work as a single team across class levels. That continuity means a child's progress and personality are handed on carefully from one year to the next.
We continually evaluate and improve our instructional programme rather than teaching the same way year after year. What works is kept, what does not is changed.
Academic results matter, but so does how a child treats other people. We teach children to possess a high level of both social and emotional intelligence, so they can succeed and thrive wherever they find themselves.
Christmas celebrations, cultural days, visits and competitions are part of the year, not an interruption to it. Children learn a great deal in the moments they enjoy most.
